This free EXIF viewer and metadata editor shows every hidden tag inside your photos — camera make and model, lens, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, orientation, editing software, IPTC captions, XMP fields and, most importantly, GPS location data. If a photo is geotagged, the exact coordinates are shown with a one-click map link so you can see precisely what you would be revealing by sharing it.
It is also a bulk metadata editor. Set the artist, copyright, description, camera make and model, software, or the date taken, and apply the change to an entire batch of JPEGs at once. Everything runs locally with exifr and piexifjs in your browser — no upload, no signup, no email. That matters here more than anywhere else: a geotagged photo can pinpoint your home to a few metres, and sending it to an online EXIF service to "check" it defeats the purpose. Because only the metadata segment is rewritten, the photo itself is never re-encoded and quality stays identical, making this a browser-based alternative to desktop tools like ExifTool.
