Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Minitooler (the "Service") is operated by JBN Web, a sole proprietorship based in Denmark ("we", "us"). By using the Service you enter into an agreement with JBN Web.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are using the Service as an individual, you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

3. The Service

Minitooler provides a collection of file conversion, editing, and calculator tools that run in your web browser. Files you process with the tools stay on your device — they are not uploaded to our servers. A free plan is available with daily usage limits. A paid "Pro" plan removes those limits, subject to the technical capabilities of your browser and device.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • upload, process, or embed content you do not have the right to use;
  • interfere with the Service's security, integrity, or performance, including through malware, probing, scanning, scraping, or automated abuse;
  • circumvent free-tier limits, share paid accounts, or resell access to the Service without our written permission.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by JBN Web and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your selected plan. You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or copy the Service beyond what these Terms permit. The files and content you process with the tools remain yours.

7. Payments, subscriptions, and taxes

Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Stripe's terms that apply to your payment. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected at checkout where required. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard. See also our Refund Policy.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Tools depend on your browser and device — very large files or unsupported formats may fail. The Service is provided "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as fraud or personal injury caused by negligence).

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify JBN Web against claims, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risks, or repeated or serious violations of the acceptable use rules. You may stop using and delete your account at any time. On termination, licences granted to you end and we may delete account data after a reasonable period.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
