Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

Can I convert to PNG or WebP instead of JPG?

Yes. Pick JPG, PNG, or WebP as the output format. JPG gives the smallest file for photos, PNG is lossless, and WebP is a great middle ground for the web.

Does it work for Live Photos and bursts?

The still image inside a HEIC or HEIF file is converted. Live Photo motion (the .MOV sidecar) is not part of the HEIC file itself and is not converted here.

What about HEIF files?

HEIF is the same container format — .heif files are handled the same way as .heic files.

What's the file size limit?

Will EXIF data be preserved?
